This Privacy Policy explains how Snagly (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile application (the “App”). In short: the App stores your projects, photos and reports on your device and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information. The App has no user accounts, no sign-in, and does not send your data to us or to any third party. It does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Camera and Photos
- Camera is used only to take photos of the issues you record. Photos taken in the App are saved inside the App, not to your photo library.
- Photo library — when you add photos from your library, you choose them in the system photo picker. The App receives only the photos you select and cannot see the rest of your library.
- Selected photos are copied into the App. Markup you add is stored separately; the App does not change or delete the originals in your photo library.
You can change camera permission at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Data Stored on Your Device
Everything you enter — projects, issues, comments, tags, photos, markup, signatures, templates, phrases, and your company name and logo — is stored locally on your device only. It is removed when you delete it in the App or delete the App.
Reports and Backups
PDF, Excel and CSV reports and backup files are created on your device. They leave your device only when you choose to share or save them, using the system share sheet or the Files app. Whoever you send a file to, and any service you save it in, handles it under their own terms.
Information you type about other people — such as a client, an assignee or a reviewer — is treated the same way: it stays on your device and appears only in the reports and backups you create.
Purchases
The App offers an optional one-time purchase (a non-consumable in-app purchase) that unlocks unlimited projects. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. Apple’s handling of your information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy:
Children’s Privacy
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
